Guided tours are held every Friday at 1:30 pm by prior appointment. A modest fee is charged which is fully applicable to plant sales. Group tours can be arranged in advance and are typically scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays. Visitors can self tour any retail sales day we’re open. It’s an excellent way to view a particular variety in terms of mature plant size and form, and bloom color and bloom count. Mid July thru mid August is the prime ‘green’ or fresh bloom period. From late August thru September, the blooms mature to their ‘antique’ stage producing often very different and very lovely rich color tones.
